Patty Hank =

Maarten Meussen (Slemper) and Mathieu van Gils (Tjeukus). For years they've been producing electronica, mainly the experimental kind that quietly ratles, pops and squeeks, asking for a concentrated and trained ear. Together as Patty Hank the poetic melodies and crackling pads are pushed aside by heavy subs and beats influenced by hiphop, dubstep and electro. Goal is a shaken resonating dancefloor and dito crowd. Live performances consist of lots of loops, beats and bits from Patty Hank's tracks, regularly enriched with chopped and twisted known and unknown vocals. That way a set is designed along the way and no two gigs ever sound the same.
